ロボットの国際会議に参加しました。

本校はHONDA Research Institute Japanの研究者と、人を幸せにするロボットの共同研究を実施しています。10月30日に、研究を手伝ってくれている生徒たちと一緒に、ベルサール汐留で開催されたロボットの国際会議に参加しました。デモでは、2か所に居る生徒たちをオンランで結んで、AIロボットHARUに手伝ってもらいながら英語で会話するというアプリを海外の研究者とともに紹介しました。国際会議では、楽しそうに自分の研究について語る研究者たちと話すことができ、生徒たちはとても楽しかったそうです。

Our school is conducting joint research with researchers at HONDA Research Institute Japan on robots that make people happy.On October 30, we participated in an international conference on robotics held at Bellesalle Shiodome with students who are helping us with our research. At the demo, students introduced an application that connects students in two locations via video conferencing tool and allows them to talk in English with the help of an AI robot, HARU, together with researchers from overseas. At the international conference, the students had a great time talking with researchers who enjoy talking about their research.
