AIロボットの研究を手伝っています。

本校の生徒たちは2021年より、ホンダ・リサーチ・インスティチュート・ジャパンの研究者であるランディ博士と共に、世界の子供たちを幸せにするためのAIロボットHARUの研究に参加しています。研究は、本校で実施したり、研究所で実施したりしますが、生徒たちは、未来を切り開く研究の難しさや楽しさを肌身で感じることができ、大変良い経験をすることができています。7月には和光市にある研究所に訪問して、オーストラリアの学生と一緒に最新のHARUを介したコミュニケーションの研究に参加しました。この研究でHARUを育ててきた生徒たちは、これからは大学受験に向けてがんばるそうです。最先端の研究や、国際的なコラボレーションに参加させて下さっている、ホンダ・リサーチ・インスティチュート・ジャパンの重見さんに、こころから感謝しております。

Since 2021, our students have been participating in research with Dr. Randy, a researcher at Honda Research Institute Japan, on the AI robot HARU to make the world’s children happy. The research is conducted at our school and at the research institute, and the students are having a great experience, experiencing firsthand the difficulties and joys of research that open up the future. In July, the students visited the research institute in Wako and worked with Australian students on the latest HARU. Students participated in the research on communication through the latest HARU with Australian students. The students nurturing HARU through this research are now working hard to prepare for their university entrance exams. We sincerely thank Dr. Shigemi of the Honda Research Institute Japan for allowing us to participate in cutting-edge research and international collaboration.
